atyānandā

atyānandā Tatpur. f. (-ndā) A morbid affection of the female or-

gans of generation, described as ‘when the woman has no pleas-

ure in the embraces of her husband’. See yonivyāpad. E. ati

(sc. krāntā) and ānanda (the sense of the accus.), sc. yoni.

atyānandā aty-ānandā, f. morbid indiffer-

ence (of a wife) to the pleasure of sexual intercourse.

atyānandā a. Morbid indifference to the pleasure of sexual union.
