    atipātaḥ

    1 Passing away, lapse (of time); aho kāla° taḥ Māl. 2.

    2 Neglect, omission; transgression; na cedanyakāryātipātaḥ Ś. 1 if no other duty be neglected thereby, if it should not interfere with (the discharge of) any other duty; deviation from established laws or customs.

    3 Befalling, occurrence; duḥkhātipātena kaluṣīkiyaṃte K. 289; jaladhārātipātaḥ 302 falling.

    4 Ill-treatment, or (pb) usage.

    5 Opposition, contrariety.
