atinivṛt

atinivṛt Tatpur. f. (-vṛt). See atinicṛt.

atinivṛt is an alternate of atinicṛt. atinicṛ(vṛ)t f. N. of a Vedic metre of

3 Pādas, the number of syllables in each being respectively 7, 6 and 7; (ṣaṭkaḥ saptakayormadhye stotṝṇāṃvivācīti . yasyāḥ sātinivṛnnāma gāyatrī dvidaśākṣarā).

ati-nicṛt (or wrongly written ati-nivṛt) f. N. of a Vedic metre of three pādas (containing respectively seven, six and seven syllables), RV.; Prāt.; RV.; Prāt. &c.

atinivṛt (ati + nivṛt) f. N. eines Metrums, dessen 3 Pāda's 7, 6, 7 Silben zählen: ṣaṭkaḥ saptakayormadhye stotṝṇāṃ vivācīti . yasyāḥ sātinivṛnnāma gāyatrī dvirdaśākṣarā .. Als Beispiel wird ṚV. 6, 45, 29. angeführt; ein solches Metrum beruht aber dort und sonst nur auf falscher Lesung. KĀTY. ANUKR. 5, 2. bei WEBER, VS. p. LVII. Die Handschriften schwanken zwischen nivṛt und nicṛt; jene Leseart finden wir bei COLEBR. Misc. Ess. II, 152, diese in MÜLLER?'S ṚV. und WEBER'S VS.
