    arvāṃc a. [avare kāle deśe vā aṃcati pṛṣo° arvādeśaḥ]

    1 Coming hitherward (opp. parāṃc).

    2 Turned towards (pb) coming to meet any one.

    3 Being on this side (as the bank of a river); (opp. para).

    4 Being below or behind (in time or place).

    5 Following, subsequent.
