apsujā Tatpur. m. f. (-jāḥ-jāḥ) (ved.) ¹ Born in water, arisen

from water, an epithet of the horse of the Aśvamedha;

comp. apsuyoni. ² Born in the intermediate region, in the

region between heaven and earth, an epithet of Agni (Sā-

yaṇa: apsujā antarikṣajātaḥ). E. apsu and jā (jan, kṛt

aff. viṭ).
