-raḥ-rā-ram) (ved.) Matchless
in carrying burdens (as a horse; liter. without another
carrying burdens alike); e. g. in the Śatapath.: aśvaṃ niktvo-
dānayanti…yo dakṣiṇāyāṃ dhuryapratidhuraḥ (Harisvāmin:
pratidhārayitā pratidhuraḥ . nāsti pratidhuro'syetyapratidhuraḥ).
E. a priv. and pratidhura (from dhṛ with prati, according to the
quoted explanation; or perhaps more correctly, a Bahuvr.
of prati and dhurā or of prati and dhur, burden, samās. aff. a,
i. e. ‘having or bearing a like burden’).
