wrong road, literally and metaphorically; e. g. yaḥ kāki-

nīmapyapathaprapannāṃ samuddharenniṣkasahasratulyām . kadāpi koṭiṣva-

pi muktahastastaṃ rājasiṃhaṃ na jahāti lakṣmīḥ ..; or mā bhūvannapa-

thaharāstavendriyāśvāḥ.--³ The vulva (comp. avācyadeśa).
