apasmaraṇam Reminding (?); sakṛdvacanena jñātasya punarvacanena prayojanamastīti | ucyate | bhavati apasmaraṇamapi prayojanamityuktam | ŚB. on MS.5.1 1. (If the word is aprasmaraṇa it would mean 'absence of forgetting' pra + smṛ is used by Śabara in the sense 'to forget'. It is, therefore, likely that the reading here is aprasmaraṇa instead of apasmaraṇa which does not appear in śabara's bhāṣya elsewhere.)
