-gdhā) A
proper name: the ancestor (or according to Bhoja, the an-
cestress) of the tribe called apajagdhāḥ or āpajagdhayaḥ (from
āpajagdhi). E. ad with apa, kṛt aff. kta, with the ādeśa
jakṣ (accord. to the Ganaratnamahodadhi).
