apātrīkaraṇa

1 Acting unbecomingly, doing degrading offices, as for a Brāhmaṇa to receive wealth improperly acquired; to trade, to serve a Śūdra, and to utter an untruth.

2 Excommunication, disqualification.

E. a neg. pātra a vessel, kararaṃ making, ccī augment; disqualifying a person from eating out of the same vessel as another.
