    anyataratodanta Bahuvr. m. f. n. (-ntaḥ-ntā-ntam) Having teeth

    on one side only, having but one row of teeth (as prajāḥ,

    living beings); opposed to ubhayatodanta i. e. men, horses

    and other animals which have two rows of teeth; both

    categories being intended in a vaidik passage to comprise

    all living beings in general. E. anyataratas and danta.
