Anu-kṣattṛ. — This word occurs in the list of victims at the Puruṣamedha,1 and means, according to Mahīdhara,2 ‘an attendant on the door-keeper,’ and, according to Sāyaṇa, ‘an attendant on the charioteer’ (sārathi).
