    anudāta

    mfn. (-ttaḥ-ttā-ttaṃ) Unaccented.

    m. (-ttaḥ) One of the three accents
    to be observed in reading the Vedas, the grave accent.

    E. an
    neg. ut high, and ātta pronounced, from to give, āṅ pre-
    fixed, to speak, and kta affixed: pronouncing the vowels in a low
    and full tone.
