2. m. (-ktaḥ ) (In Law.) A Brāhmaṇa who attends a court
without having been appointed a member of it, whose vote
is therefore not binding, and who is at liberty to attend
the court meetings and to debate in them, or not. (See,
on the contrary, sabhāsad .)
