-taḥ) A sound not produced in the
ordinary manner; the mysterious sound (om) which is heard
in consequence of religious meditation and which is said
‘not to give pleasure, but eternal bliss’; unlike the āhata-
nāda (q. v.) or the real musical sound. E. anāhata and nāda.
