ákṣi, akṣí, n., das Auge, wahrscheinlich als das scharf unterscheidende aufgefasst, indem insbesondere das lat. acies den Uebergang der Begriffe anschaulich macht (vgl. Johannes Schmidt: Die Wurzel ak). Die Casus ergänzen sich mit denen von akṣan.
