    ajakāvaḥ vaṃ

    1 Śiva's bow.

    2 [ ajakaṃ chāgaṃ vāti prīṇāti; vā-ka] N. of the tree varvarī, of which goats are said to be very fond.

    3 [ajakā ajāgalastanaïva vāti prakāśate vā-ka] A sacrificial vessel of wood (of the form of ajāgala) dedicated to Mitra and Varuṇa (

    vaṃ in this sense) maitrāvaruṇapātraṃ.

    4 A disease of the pupil of the eye = ajakājāta q. v.

    5 A venomous kind of vermin (ajakā rogaviśeṣaḥ, tadviṣaṃ).
