adhikaraṇasiddhānta Tatpur. m. (
-ntaḥ) (In the Nyāya philoso-
phy.) A truth or conclusion which implies another truth or
conclusion; one of the four kinds of siddhānta. See also sarva-
tantrasiddhānta, pratitantrasiddhānta and abhyupagamasiddhānta. E. a-
dhikaraṇa and siddhānta, a paramount truth.
