tṛtvaṃ yathā “vaikārikādahaṅkārāddevā vaikārikā daśa .
digvātārkapraceto'śvivahnīndropendramitrakā” iti śāra0 .
“śaktisāmarthyādvikṛtaparameśvarādutpannatvenā'haṅkārasya tadu-
tpannadevānāñca vaikārikatvamiti” rāghavabhaṭṭena vyākhyā-
tam . “vaikārikā digādyāśca candreṇaikādaśa smṛtāḥ .
indriyāṇāmadhiṣṭhātṛdevāste parikīrttitā” iti taddhṛtā-
bhiyuktoktiḥ . tathā ca śrotrasya dik, tvaco vātaḥ,
netrasya arkaḥ, rasanāyāḥ varuṇaḥ, ghrāṇasya aśvinau,
vāgindriyasya vahniḥ, hastasya indraḥ, pādasya upendraḥ,
pāyoḥ mitraḥ, upasthasya (kaḥ) prajāpatiḥ, manasaḥ candraḥ,
ityete ekādaśendriyāṇāmadhiṣṭhātṛdevāḥ . “īśvaraṃ
bhāskare vidyādumāṃ vidyānniśākare . skandamaṅgā-
rake vidyādbudhe nārāyaṇaṃ viduḥ . gurau vedanidhiṃ vidyāt
śukre śakro vidhīyate . śanaiścare yamaṃ vidyādrāhoḥ kālaṃ tathaiva
ca . citragupto'dhipaḥ ketorityete grahadevatāḥ” iti (matsya-
purā0) uktā grahāṇāmadhidevāḥ . eteṣāṃ punaradhiṣṭhātṛdevāśca
pratyadhidevatātvena vyavahriyante te ca pratyadhidevatāśabde
darśayiṣyante . adhidevatāpyatraiva . “ādityābhimukhāḥ sarve
sādhipratyadhidevatā” iti matsyapu0 . “śaśāṅkamūrtteradhideva-
tākṛtiriti” bhaṭṭiḥ . candrādhidevatā umā .
