adhiṣṭhānadeha

adhi-ṣṭhāna—deha or adhi-ṣṭhā́na—śarīra, n. the intermediate body which serves to clothe and support the departed spirit during its several residences in the Pitṛ-loka or world of spirits (also called the Preta-śarīra).
