    adhiṣṭhānaśarīra Karmadh. n. (-ram) (In Sāṅkhya phil.) According

    to some, an intermediate body between the liṅgaśarīra and sthūla-

    śarīra (qq. vv.), one that is supposed to enable the subtle body

    to assume the corporeity of gross body. E. adhiṣṭhāna and śarīra.
