adhiśrayaṇa Tatpur. I. n. (-ṇam) Placing over the fire a pot &c.

(the reverse of avaśrayaṇa q. v.); also as a sacrificial act which

occurs in several sacrifices, the Darśapūrṇamāsa, Vājapeya &c.

II. f. (-ṇī) A furnace or fire-place. E. śri with adhi,

kṛt aff. lyuṭ, in the fem. with ṅīp.
