    abrāhmaṇatā f. (-tā) or abrāhmaṇatva n. (-tvam) The condition

    of one who is not a Brāhmaṇa &c. (see the meanings of

    abrāhmaṇa I.); e. g. Patanjali on Pāṇ.: nañpūrvāttatpuruṣāttva-

    talau . abrāhmaṇatvam . abrāhmaṇateti. (It may mean too:

    the condition of what is without Brāhmaṇas, as a sacrifice

    &c.; see abrāhmaṇa II.) E. abrāhmaṇa, taddh. aff. tal or tva.
