(-m) is objectionable (comp. arthanā, prārthanā and Pāṇ. III.
3. 107.), although it occurs e. g. in a verse of the Śāntis. of
Hœberlin's Chr., where the necessity of metre seems to have
led to the grammatical inaccuracy: dhanairyācñālabdhairna na pari-
bhavo'bhyarthanaphalaṃ…nikāro'gre paścāddhanamahaha bhostaddhi
nidhanam. E. arth with abhi, kṛt aff. yuc.
