abhya-mitrya (tryaḥ) m. Idem.

abhyamitrya m. (-yaḥ) The same as abhyamitrīṇa and the pre-

ceding; (Pāṇ. &c.); e. g. Bhaṭṭik.: tamudyataniśātāsiṃ pratyu-

vāca jijīviṣuḥ . mārīco'nunayaṃstrāsādabhyamitryo bhavāmi

te. E. abhyamitra, taddh. aff. yat.

abhy-amitrīṇa [Bhaṭṭ.] or °trīya or °trya [Bhaṭṭ.], mfn. [apparently derivatives fr. abhy-amitram (see below s.v.), but probably originally derived from the rt., which is also indicated by the parallel form abhy-amin (See below)] advancing against or attacking (the enemy), Pāṇ. v, 2, 17.
