1 Sounding, uttering;
e. g. Āsvam. Mahābh.: saṃśayābhirutaṃ mūḍhaṃ śarīramiti dhāraṇā
(Nīlak.: = saṃśayodghoṣakaṃ vināśavījamityarthaḥ; a v. 1. in this
passage is saṃsargābhirataṃ mūḍhaṃ &c.). 2 Sounded, sounding with;
e. g. Vanap. Mahābh.: apaśyat…nadīḥ…sārasābhirutāḥ; or
paśyan…vanāni…varhiṇābhirutāni.
2. n. (-tam) Any cry, noise, sound; e. g. Rāmāy.: koki-
lābhirutena ca…pragītamiva tadvanam. E. ru with abhi, kṛt aff. kta.
