-raḥ-rā-ram) Consisting of few
(i. e. not of more than two) syllables, as a word; e. g. in
the Ṛgv. Prātiś.: svabahvakṣareṇa ‘the s of su becomes ṣ, if
it is preceded by a word of not more than two syllables’.
