    II. (ahi-curādi-parasmaipadin) r. 10th cl. par. (aṃhaya-

    ti p. p. aṃhita) To shine, or according to some, to speak.

    The radical aṃh is considered in some derivations as a

    substitute for han; see aṃhati, aṃhas, aṃhu &c.
